MSNBC expressed dissatisfaction with a New York appeals court decision to reduce Donald Trump’s bail in his civil fraud trial from $454 million to $175 million.

Legal analyst Tristan Snell reacted angrily on air, saying the ruling grants Trump a “private court of justice” and favors him unfairly.

“I honestly think this is so infuriating I don’t even know what to do… Whatever it is, it’s flawed,” Snell said. “We have decided that he gets his own private court of justice… This is an absolute travesty.”

“It would not happen for anybody else. Anybody else would be like, ‘Sorry, buddy,’” he said. “The appellate court has now just decided they’re going to swoop in and just change it. And that’s it.”

The decision delays New York Attorney General Letitia James’s ability to seize Trump’s assets to satisfy the judgment.

While parts of an initial ruling against Trump stood, such as bans on family members holding corporate roles, the bail reduction offers Trump a financial reprieve and more time to raise funds.

Some speculate Trump could profit from an upcoming Trump Media merger, though SEC rules may prevent immediate asset sales.

Trump maintains the trial was politically motivated.

The ruling upset those hoping Trump would face the full consequences of the judgment against him.
