A poll following Biden’s State of the Union address found Trump leading him in a hypothetical 2024 matchup.

The HarrisX survey of over 2,000 registered voters from March 8-10 showed Trump with 45% support to Biden’s 41%, with 13% undecided.

Biden’s approval rating was just 37% according to this poll and other aggregations.

The SOTU speech appears to have raised concerns about Biden’s age, fitness, and ability to unite or address key issues like immigration.

Over half of voters said the speech further divided the country.

On immigration specifically, 61% felt Biden did not do enough, which came after he botched the name of Laken Riley, a young girl killed by an illegal immigrant.

The poll underscores Biden’s weakness on key issues as the US faces a major border crisis.

It suggests Trump may have an early advantage, should they face off again in the next presidential election.
