The White House indicated that President Joe Biden will not undergo a cognitive test during his upcoming yearly physical exam, despite widespread doubts about his mental fitness for a potential second term.

This announcement follows Special Counsel Robert Hur’s conclusion in a criminal investigation regarding Biden’s handling of classified material, where no criminal charges were recommended.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated that Dr. Kevin O’Connor believes Biden demonstrates his cognitive abilities through his daily decision-making and interactions with world leaders, implying that a cognitive test is unnecessary.

Dr. Kevin O’Connor believes that the President “proves every day how he operates, how he thinks by dealing with world leaders, by making really difficult decisions on behalf of the — the American people, whether it’s domestic, whether it’s national security,” Jean-Pierre said.

“And so, he shows it every day on how he thinks, how he operates,” she said. “And so, that is how — that is how Dr. O’Connor sees it. And that’s how I’m going to leave it.”

Recent polling data reveals significant concerns among Americans regarding Biden’s age and mental fitness, with a majority expressing doubt about his ability to serve as president for another term.
