An astonishing 49,000 illegal immigrants have been apprehended by Tucson Sector Border Patrol in only 28 days.

John Modlin, the Tucson Sector Chief Patrol Agent, took to X to report that agents in his sector had apprehended over 13,000 just in the last week. More than 120 federal crime cases were filed as a result of the apprehensions.

In the same period agents busted over two-dozen smuggling attempts, as reported by Modlin. (Trending: Ilhan Omar Caught In Major Lie)

Tuscon Sector agents have apprehended over 370,000 illegal immigrants since the end of fiscal year 2023.

More than 2.8 million migrants have had encounters with authorities so far in 2023. This is already higher than the 2.7 million migrants encountered in 2022. (Trending: Famous Actor Attacks Trump Supporters)

The data show a rise of “special interest aliens” from Afghanistan (6,386), Egypt (3,153), Iran (659), Syria (538), Uzbekistan (12,264), Turkey (30,830), Pakistan (1,163), Lebanon (164), Jordan (185), Iraq (123), and Mauritania (15,594).

These encounters occurred between October 2021 and October 2023. (Trending: Major Women’s Race Won By Two Men)

The Department of Homeland Security confirmed these individuals could pose “a national security risk to the United States or its interests.”

“Often such individuals or groups are employing travel patterns known or evaluated to possibly have a nexus to terrorism. DHS analysis includes an examination of travel patterns, points of origin, and/or travel segments that are tied to current assessments of national and international threat environments,” DHS said in 2019.

“The increase in encounters of individuals on the terror screening data set are largely commensurate with the increased flow to the border more broadly,” a DHS official said in September.

“Naturally, as we see more people arrive at the border from different countries, we are more likely going to see an increase in individuals who might be on the watchlist or directly related to terror activity.”

The US immigration system has been fundamentally broken under Joe Biden as the country experiences a historic and unprecedented crisis.

The Biden administration signaled to the world that everyone can come through the border even if it’s illegally and without proper documentation.

Trump’s “remain in Mexico” policy forced foreign nationals seeking to enter the U.S. illegally or without proper documentation to be returned to Mexico.

These individuals needed to wait in Mexico while their legal cases are adjudicated. This border security program under Trump and kept migrants in Mexico as they awaited their hearings.

Overly emotional and impractical leftists were enraged at Trump’s border policy. Biden himself falsely claimed Trump was “racist” and “xenophobic” for his “remain in Mexico” policy. (Trending: NFL Legend Crushes Trans Activists)

Biden, on the other hand, allows migrant asylum seekers into the U.S. prior to court hearings, which many Republicans have opposed.

The Democrat’s strategy of allowing migrants into the U.S. gives them the opportunity to disappear before their court hearings.

As a result, the White House confirmed that some illegal immigrants have received free cell phones so that they can be contacted and “checked on” in hopes that they don’t disappear within the U.S. before their court hearing.

Under Trump, Americans saw the lowest rate of illegal immigration in over 40 years.

Under Biden, we have seen the highest rate of illegal immigration over 60 years.

General Michael Flynn, who has personally witnessed the problem, describes the situation under Biden as a “mass invasion” that is “out of control.”
