‘Can’t go on like this’: GOP senator says Hillary’s gotta be charged after Durham report drops

Republican Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri is calling for the prosecution of Hillary Clinton following the release of the bombshell “Durham Report.”

The report details the disturbing level of politicization and corruption within the FBI and Department of Justice (DOJ).

“There needs to be a lot more than reports,” Hawley said. “People need to be prosecuted for this. The Clinton campaign and Hillary Clinton herself.”

The FBI and DOJ relied on the lies fed to them by a Democrat-hired law firm in order to spy on the 2016 Trump campaign, which continued even after Trump was elected president.

The FBI did not dispute the findings in the Durham report.

Hawley explained, “Is it any coincidence that she is tweeting about collusion at exactly the same time her campaign operatives are feeding this BS to the FBI? I don’t think so.”

“There needs to be consequences for her and also for the FBI,” he told Fox News.

The federal agencies falsely told Americans there was evidence that President Trump’s 2016 campaign coordinated with Russia to influence the election. It was a lie.

“We’ve got to get justice here, and justice needs to be served. You can’t interfere in a presidential election without consequences,” Hawley continued.

“At least you couldn’t, you used to not be able to in America. And that’s what happened here. That’s what this report shows. That one political party, the Democrats, tried to use the FBI to rig a presidential election and just about got away with it. They succeeded in getting the FBI to intervene.”

“They succeeded in getting the FBI to lie to a court to get wiretaps. They succeeded in getting a presidential campaign Donald Trump’s campaign spied on. I mean, it’s amazing. If there’s something like this in American history, I don’t know what it is. And that’s why I say there needs to be prosecutions,” Hawley added.

“There needs to be accountability. And the FBI has got to be overhauled now, top to bottom. It’s got to be completely reformed. It cannot go on like it is,” he said.

Making matters worse, top leaders at the FBI shut down four criminal investigations into Hillary and Bill Clinton.

Beginning in 2014, a reliable source told the FBI that a foreign government planned to support and “contribute” to Hillary Clinton’s anticipated presidential campaign as a way to “gain influence with Clinton should she win the presidency,” the Durham report found.

An FBI field office began investigating this claim and sought a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant.

The Durham report found that the FBI was hesitant and “more careful” to proceed with the investigation because agents were “scared with the big name [Clinton]” involved.

“They were pretty “tippy-toeing’ around HRC because there was a chance she would be the next President,” the report found.
