Democrat Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania has been hospitalized after (ironically) fending off Republican physician Dr. Mehmet Oz, who was endorsed by President Donald Trump.

Serious questions are swirling about Fetterman’s mental capacity to hold office as he requires inpatient care at the hospital for clinical depression.

Many people have publicly questioned the voter intelligence of people living in Pennsylvania. It appears that Fetterman’s ability to continue working is questionable after just two months in Washington, D.C.

Although Fetterman has battled depression his entire life, it has “became severe in recent weeks” after being elected to serve in Congress.

His chief of staff Adam Jentleson has ensured Americans that Fetterman “will soon be back to himself.”

“After examining John, the doctors at Walter Reed told us that John is getting the care he needs, and will soon be back to himself,” Jentleson said.

Fetterman had previously suffered a stroke and has been regularly questioned about his health and whether he’s fit for office.

His campaign repeatedly dogged questions about his health last year.

Fetterman’s communications director Joe Calvello said, “Towards the end of the Senate Democratic retreat today, Senator John Fetterman began feeling lightheaded.”

“He left and called his staff, who picked him up and drove him to The George Washington University Hospital,” he continued.

“Initial tests did not show evidence of a new stroke, but doctors are running more tests and John is remaining overnight for observation,” Calvello said in a statement.

Fetterman is reportedly “in good spirits and talking with his staff and family.”

53-year-old Fetterman currently has a six-year term that critics say he may not be able to finish due to his health problems.
