Former Keystone Pipeline Worker Sets the Record Straight on Biden’s Massive Failures: ‘We Tried To Warn You’

Former Keystone XL pipeline worker Neal Crabtree told Fox News that they tried to warn Joe Biden and the Democrats against shutting down the pipeline and ending America’s path towards energy independence.

“We tried to warn this administration back when they canceled the Keystone Pipeline,” Crabtree told Fox News.

Biden was dead set on “canceling national security, foreign policy and energy,” the former pipeline worker argued. “They all kinda go hand-in-hand.”

The average price for a gallon of gasoline in the U. S. hit a record high this week, as oil neared $130 per barrel, according to Fox News.

“It’s a disgrace,” President Donald Trump responded to the crisis. “We were just a little while ago energy independent. We were producing more energy by far than Russia or Saudi Arabia.”

“We were going to be double the size of both in a very short period of time, probably within 12 months,” Trump continued. “But we were energy independent for the first time in more than 72 years,”

“And that was a killer for Russia because we brought the price of energy down. We were down at $30 a barrel, $32 a barrel, $40 a barrel,” Trump said. “And actually much less than that for a period of time.”

Democrats are attempting to spin the narrative by claiming the ban on Russian oil is causing gas prices to skyrocket. This has been the focus of many fact-checks, earning a “false” rating.

Gas Prices have been skyrocketing long before the Russia-Ukraine war. Crabtree said rising gas prices go beyond Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

“Even if we can fix the Ukrainian problem, the prices are still going up,” v said. Biden’s “policies have everything to do with the rising fuel prices in this country today.

“It has nothing to do with the war in Ukraine,” Crabtree continued.

Biden still refuses to accept responsibility for this crisis despite making the disastrous decision to stop the XL Keystone pipeline, stop the flow of existing pipelines, and prevent drilling on federal lands.

Months ago, as gas prices soared before the Russia-Ukraine war, Biden desperately blamed gas and oil companies of engaging in “illegal conduct” that is responsible for “costing families at the pump.” This allegation was also false as an investigation turned up no evidence of illegal conduct.

The average price of an electric car was $56,437 in December 2021, according to CNBC.

The price for a gallon of regular gas now stands at $4.17, according to AAA. This breaks a previous record of $4.11 a gallon in July 2008.

“US drivers have never paid this much for gasoline,” CNN reported on the record-high prices.

The Democrats’ plan to rely on Russian oil was a very, very bad idea. Gas prices hit a 31-year high under Joe Biden, according to USA Today.

A fired Keystone XL pipeline contractor told Fox News, “I’m not surprised at all. Because everything that Biden’s touched or done — it’s a failure.”
