House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has sparked a new meme with her strange behavior during Joe Biden’s State of the Union address.

“What the hell is she doing?” one person responded on social media. Others said she looked like she was “on drugs or drunk.”

Pelosi is seen jumping out of her seat, rubbing her knuckles together, and grinding her teeth. Watch the clip:

81-year-old Pelosi sat directly behind Biden last night as millions watched his State of the Union address. She distracted viewers with her awkward and erratic behavior throughout the speech.

Pelosi seemingly jumped the gun on a moment that was meant to be manufactured to generate applause from the audience.

However, Biden was speaking about soldiers breathing in toxic smoke from burn pits.

A smiling Pelosi awkwardly stood up and rubbed her hands together as Biden was talking about the soldiers stationed in Afghanistan and elsewhere “breathing in toxic smoke from burn pits.” Political personalities and more were quick to point out the moment on Twitter.

Tom Bevan of Real Clear Politics called the moment “bizarre” while others called it strange and “must see TV.”
