AOC isn’t happy with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson for daring to criticize her during a recent segment.

In a Twitter tirade, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York said, “I genuinely want to know why Tucker Carlson is allowed/paid to engage in clear, targeted, libelous harassment that endangers people & drives so many violent threats that people have to fundraise for their own safety [sic].”

“Why should they have to pay for his harassment? Make it make sense,” AOC said.

On his show, Carlson had delivered a critical review of a new book about her titled “Take Up Space: The Unprecedented AOC.” This didn’t sit well with AOC, who accused Carlson of harassment.

Carlson poked fun at the congresswomen over her efforts to create Instagram posts where she puts on makeup and talks about sexism and racism in the industry.

In other social media posts, she attempts to entertain followers while drinking wine, eating popcorn, and putting together a piece of Ikea furniture.

Tucker joked that “a hagiography of Sandy Cortez is like a box of Fig Newtons, you know it’s wrong to open it, but the temptation is strong, and so we did.”

“And before we know it we consumed the whole thing; we still feel sick,” Tucker continued.

Tucker said the book was “amazing.”

Carlson notes that the book “opens by comparing Ocasio-Cortez to Jesus” and “suggests that, because she won second place in a science contest once, she could have won a Nobel Prize.”
