BREAKING: Liberals Lose Again, Their Big Trump Investigation Just Collapsed

It looks like another witch hunt investigation into President Donald Trump has failed for liberals.

Two leading prosecutors investigating the Trump Organization in Manhattan have resigned, according to NBC News.

This move has undoubtedly clouded the case’s future.

The politically motivated case has been ongoing for years. The left-wing district attorney in Manhattan has failed to find any evidence of crimes that could lead to a prosecution against Trump.

Attorney Carey Dunne was once described as someone who “championed the legal fight to get the former president’s tax returns and tax-related documents.”

Dunne even fought all the way to the Supreme Court twice and won. Despite this success, Dunne has left the office.

Accompanying Dunne’s departure is attorney Mark Pomerantz, a former mafia prosecutor who was recruited from private practice to help lead the investigation.

A spokesperson for Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg said that “we are grateful for their service” and “the investigation is ongoing.”

Dunne and Pomerantz did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Trump has not been charged with any wrongdoing in the case.

He says the investigation is a politically motivated “witch hunt.”

Liberals argue that Trump Organization and its former chief financial officer are guilty of a 15-year scheme to compensate top executives of Trump’s company “off the books” and help them avoid paying taxes.

Despite failing to provide adequate evidence, prosecutors claim the company engaged in an “orchestrated” scheme to compensate executives “off the books” to avoid taxes.

Dunne once said in court, “contrary to today’s assertion by the company’s former CEO [Trump], this is not a ‘standard practice in the business community’ nor was it the act of a rogue or isolated employee.”

“Instead, it was orchestrated by the most senior executives, who were financially benefiting themselves and the company by getting secret pay raises at the expense of state and federal taxpayers,” Dunne said.

Dunne and Pomerantz were once described on CNN as “two very good lawyers” and it would be critical for them to stay on the case.

It appears this won’t be happening after all.

“I think it would be a disservice to Manhattan to lose them,” Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg said on CNN.
