Elon Musk Issues Grave Warning to America

The official national debt is just over $30 trillion, but billionaire tech guru Elon Musk says the problem is actually much worse.

“True national debt, including unfunded entitlements, is at least $60 trillion,” Musk said in a warning to Americans.

“Roughly three times the size of the entire US economy,” he said, adding “Something has got to give.”

Musk, who is the world’s richest person with an estimated net worth of $238 billion, sent this message in response to a satirical article by the Babylon Bee.

The Babylon Bee poked fun at Joe Biden and the Democrats’ spending spree by joking, “Biden Goes Double Or Nothing On National Debt By Placing $30 Trillion On The Bengals.”

If Biden won this fictitious bet, then America’s national debt would suddenly disappear. According to Musk, however, the bet would actually need to be closer to $60 trillion.

The problem is, the national debt does not include unfunded Social Security and Medicare promises to Americans. Our “true national debt” is often calculated by using data provided by the U.S. Treasury Department and the Social Security and Medicare trustees.

This includes a calculation of the present value of the benefits these programs will receive over the next 75 years offset by the receipts directed to these programs for that time period.

Liberals have been furious lately about the fact that TIME Magazine chose Elon Musk as “Person of the Year.” Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren immediately claimed that Musk is “freeloading off everyone else” and doesn’t “actually pay taxes.”

“Stop projecting,” Musk fired back at Warren, including a link to a 2019 opinion piece calling out her false claims of Native American ancestry. “You remind me of when I was a kid and my friend’s angry Mom would just randomly yell at everyone for no reason,” added Musk. “Please don’t call the manager on me, Senator Karen.”

“And if you opened your eyes for 2 seconds, you would realize I will pay more taxes than any American in history this year.” Musk is set to pay the most in taxes than any individual in history. Musk says he will pay about $11 billion in taxes.

Warren took things a step further by posting Musk’s image to Facebook with an advertisement that asks for political donations in order to help Democrats pass “a wealth tax.” The advertisement, which is paid for by Warren Democrats Inc., says Musk is “whining like a baby.”

Again, Musk defended himself by explaining, “This is such a deeply messed up lie to the American people. She is the one freeloading off taxpayers, while I’m paying the largest amount of tax of any individual in history. Is Senator Warren really someone we want as a US senator?” Musk asked. Take a look:

MSNBC’s Joy Reid came to Warren’s defense by arguing that Elon Musk culturally appropriated his Karen insult from black people. Musk continued to defense himself by calling out Reid for being a “lobbyist.”
