Anti-Defamation League Attempts To Change The Definition Of ‘Racism’ And It’s A Disaster

The Anti-Defamation League was brutally slammed after changing the definition of “racism” on their website.

In the new definition, they say racism means “the marginalization and/or oppression of people of color based on a socially constructed racial hierarchy that privileges white people.”

The organization, which is led by former Obama official Jonathan Greenblatt, was immediately met with severe backlash. The organization falsely claims racism explicitly benefits white people while Merriam-Webster and others correctly define the term as “the belief that a particular race is superior or inferior to another.” Take a look below:

The Jewish Policy Center immediately fired back, “THIS is entirely unacceptable.”

Seth Mandel, who is the executive editor of The Washington Examiner, also expressed outrage at the ADL.

“The ADL defines ‘racism’ as something that explicitly benefits white ppl, koshering any kind of race-based hatred–*very much including antisemitism*, it must be said–that doesn’t.”

More on this story via The Post Millennial:

According to The Blaze previously stated, “Racism is the belief that a particular race is superior or inferior to another, that a person’s social and moral traits are predetermined by his or her inborn biological characteristics. Racial separatism is the belief, most of the time based on racism, that different races should remain segregated and apart from one another.”

Merriam-Webster’s dictionary defines “racism” as: “…a belief that race is a fundamental determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.”

The Atlantic in 2016 quoted Greenblatt, as saying, “There’s no doubt that the vast majority of American Jews live with what we would call white privilege. They aren’t looked at twice when they walk into a store. They aren’t looked at twice by someone in uniform … That obviously isn’t a privilege that people of color have the luxury of enjoying.”

[Jounalist Abigail] Shrier also said, “Dividing the Jewish people by skin color (ie. “Jews of Color” and “White Jews”) is profoundly unJewish and destructive. In fact, it is a common tactic of the enemies of the Jewish people and Israel. Beyond foolish for the ADL to adopt it.”
