A rumor began circulating in Washington, D.C. back in November 2021 that the White House will get rid of Kamala Harris by nominating her to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court.

This rumor began following CNN’s bombshell article about “significant dysfunction” within Vice President Kamala Harris’ team.

One passage from the CNN report “sent shockwaves across Washington, D.C” after the network interviewed nearly three dozen current and former staffers.

Inside the CNN article, it says that Harris’ defenders get “depressed” and need to “bat down the Aaron Sorkin-style rumor that Biden might try to replace her by nominating her to a Supreme Court vacancy.”

This immediately caught everyone’s eye.

Harris, who once even accused Joe Biden of being racist during the Democratic primary race, has achieved an approval rating as low as 28 percent, according to a poll from USA Today. Business Insider confirmed this is the lowest rating for any vice president in history.

Multiple top aides on Harri’s team have quit, including veteran communications chief Ashley Etienne who previously worked for Obama, Joe Biden, and Nancy Pelosi. CNN which showed there is significant dysfunction within her team.

“Harris is struggling with a rocky relationship with some parts of the White House,” CNN reported about Harris.

Putting the rumors to rest, the White House responded in December that Joe Biden plans to run for re-election in 2024 and will have Kamala Harris as his running mate.

However, the rumors are ramping up again as liberal Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, who is 83 years old, announced that he is retiring.

This gives Joe Biden his first opportunity to fill a vacancy on the high court. Some Democrats, such as Senator Patty Murray, is calling on Biden to choose a Black woman to be his replacement.

Members of the “Squad” have also called for a Black woman to take his place.

Joel Pollak of Breitbart says it could happen.

“Vice President Kamala Harris could be appointed as the first black and female Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, following news Wednesday that liberal Justice Stephen Breyer is to retire, allowing President Joe Biden to appoint a successor,” Pollak begins.

“The retirement is timely, and would maximize the chance that Biden’s pick would be confirmed, ahead of a possible Senate flip to the Republicans in the 2022 midterm elections, and amid plummeting opinion polls for the president ahead of 2024.”

“Biden promised before the South Carlolina primary in 2020 — the moment he seized control of the race, thanks to black voters — and again at one of the last Democratic Party presidential primary debates that his first nominee for the Court would be a black woman…”

“Nominating Harris could also help Biden and the Democrats solve the problem posed by Harris’s unpopularity. Biden faces questions about his mental and physical abilities, raising doubts about his ability to run for reelection in 2024, or even to serve out his term. Harris is even more unpopular than Biden, however, making her an unpalatable replacement for Biden,” Pollak explained.
