CDC Director Comes Forward, Clarifies Just How Incorrect Liberal’s Claim Was on COVID Stat

Perhaps the most radical liberal on the U.S. Supreme Court, Justice Sonia Sotomayor, was caught pushing lies about the coronavirus in an effort to ram through Joe Biden’s federal vaccine injections on Americans.

Sotomayor, who was nominated by Barack Obama in 2009, claimed that American has “over 100,000 children, which we’ve never had before, in serious condition, many on ventilators.”

This statement has been the subject of numerous fact-checks, which have resulted in “false” ratings.

There are certainly not “100,000 children” who are in “serious condition” and “many on ventilators,” as Sotomayor claims. This is absurdly delusional rhetoric.

Sotomayor is clearly guilty of using scare tactics as well as false and hyperbolic language to push Biden’s left-wing agenda.

In reality, there are about 4,000 children in hospitals from coronavirus, according to The Washington Post.

Even CDC Director Rochelle Walensky was forced to come forward and clarify that the number of children hospitalized with COVID-19 is nowhere close to the statistic put forth by Sotomayor.

Appearing on Fox News, Walensky confirmed that there are fewer than 3,500 children in hospitals with COVID-19.

Walkensky also told Fox News that numbers of COVID hospitalizations generally include patients who go to hospitals for other reasons and just happen to test positive while they are there, as opposed to those who go to the hospital because they are sick with COVID.

“In some hospitals that we’ve talked to, up to 40% of the patients who are coming in with COVID are coming in not because they’re sick with COVID but because they’re coming in with something else and have had COVID or the omicron variant detected,” she said.

Republican Senator Rand Paul quickly shot back with a simple 5-word question: “Is Fauci advising Justice Sotomayor?”

“Will YouTube censor her?” Paul asked jokingly. Big tech seemingly only censors the opinions and speech of conservatives on their platforms when it comes to misinformation.

More from Fox News:

Walensky did not have a number of how many children are on ventilators. Urging Americans to get vaccinated, she said she believes many hospitals do not have any vaccinated children on ventilators.

The CDC director also acknowledged that not only is the number of child hospitalizations significantly lower than what Sotomayor claimed, it is far less than that of older age demographics.

Walensky also confirmed that children have a lesser risk of dying of COVID-19 than adults, while making clear that kids should still receive protection.

“Comparatively, the risk of death is small, but of course children aren’t supposed to die,” she said. “So if we have a child who is sick with COVID-19 … we want to protect them, of course.”

Biden’s drug mandate, which fails to give individuals exemptions for health or religious reasons, has been widely condemned as unwise, unhealthy, and unconstitutional.

Biden’s mandate also targets large private employers. If employees reject the drug injection, they face the dire consequence of losing their employment and means of living.

Due to the numerous challenges, the highly-politicized case has reached the Supreme Court.

Liberal justices like Sotomayor are desperately attempting to defend the Biden administration’s drug mandate on Americans.

Sotomayor also falsely claimed that the omicron variant is more “deadly” than the delta variant. Again, this is inaccurate according to CDC data.

Sotomayor, who did not appear in the courtroom for the oral arguments, appears to be completely out of touch with reality.

She is participating remotely from her chambers as she suffers from a completely false understanding of the actual data concerning coronavirus and its variants.
