The Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty conducted an investigation into the 2020 presidential election in the state of Wisconsin.

The law firm found that 54,259 ballots were “cast by individuals who have never shown a voter ID in any election.” Biden won the state of Wisconsin by only 20,000 votes.

PolitiFact notes that the article has to do with voters who declare themselves “indefinitely confined.”

The Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty released a statement that read, “While we cannot infer any malignant intent on the part of these voters, this means that many votes were cast without the requirement of photo identification.”

“54,259 ballots were cast by individuals who have never shown a voter ID in any election,” the statement continues. “3,718 were cast from addresses that were on the 2019 Mover’s List. 7,747 failed their DMV check when they registered,” the law firm’s report says.

Despite these findings, PolitiFact confirms, “The review highlighted the number of voters who declared themselves “indefinitely confined” and cast absentee ballots without producing photo identification.”

“The review did not find that those votes exceeded Joe Biden’s margin of victory over Donald Trump in Wisconsin,” the fact-check concludes.
