Following his trial, Kyle Rittenhouse says his goal is to become a lawyer.

It appears Rittenhouse was inspired during his trial by the “corrupt” behavior of prosecutor Thomas Binger. Rittenhouse hopes to prevent them from practicing law.

“I want to be a lawyer,” Rittenhouse explained.

When asked if he always wanted to be a lawyer, Rittenhouse said he made this decision recently during his trial.

“Toward the end of the trial, I was like, I wanna go against corrupt piece of s*** prosecutors like Thomas Binger and put them in their place and make sure they never practice law again,” Rittenhouse responded.

Rittenhouse says he tried not to show his emotion during the trial, but the prosecutor demonstrated his alarming and unprofessional behavior in a number of instances.

At one point, the prosecutor even pointed a firearm in the courtroom with his finger on the trigger.

“What I’m thinking when I’m just the blank-faced, potted plant in court, I’m just saying in my head, ‘Is this guy serious?'”

Rittenhouse was asked at what point did he believe the jury would acquit him.

“Actually, from when I knew the state didn’t have a case,” Rittenhouse explained.

“It’s when they had their opening statements and when they put Dominick Black (Rittenhouse’s friend) on the stand, which really helped me.”

“That’s when I knew that they didn’t have a case.”

“So the opening statements, you already knew?” Rittenhouse was asked.

“Yeah,” Rittenhouse said.

The prosecution argued that Rittenhouse had “chased down” Joseph Rosenbaum, which was not true as demonstrated by video footage and eyewitness testimony.
