Cancel Culture Failure: Grammys Nominate Dave Chappelle, Louis C.K. Despite Scandals

It appears the “woke” cancel culture of Hollywood may finally be easing up.

Grammy nominations have been secured by comedians Louis C.K. and Dave Chappelle despite being at “the forefront of highly publicized scandals,” Fox News reports.

C.K. received a nomination for best comedy album with “Sincerely Louis CK.”

Chappelle received a nomination one for best-spoken word album with “8:46.”

Chappelle has recently infuriated leftists with comments in his latest comedy special called The Closer on Netflix.

“Gender is a fact,” Chappelle said in opposition to radical leftists.

“Every human being in this room, every human being on Earth, had to pass through the legs of a woman to be on Earth,” he continued.

“That is a fact,” Chappelle emphasized. “Now, I am not saying that to say trans women aren’t women,” he continued. “I am just saying that those p*****s that they got… you know what I mean?”

“I’m not saying it’s not p***y, but it’s Beyond P***y or Impossible P***y,” Cappelle joked.

Chappelle even goes one step further by defending Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling. Chappelle says she was wrongfully “canceled” for similar remarks.

He likens himself to Rowling regarding a 2019 controversy when she identified herself as a “TERF,” or “trans-exclusionary radical feminist.”

He says that he is supportive of “team TERF.”

On the other hand, disgraced 54-year-old Louis C.K. has admitted to exposing himself to women after multiple accusations. He eventually responded by even joking about his sexual misconduct in “Sincerely Louis CK,” for which he’s nominated by the Academy.

More from Fox News:

Following the special, many called for it to be removed by the streaming giant and a group of Netflix employees staged a walkout in October to protest.

In response, Chappelle said: “To the transgender community, I am more than willing to give you an audience, but you will not summon me. I am not bending to anybody’s demands. And if you want to meet with me, I’d be more than willing to.”

He shared the message in a video posted to his Instagram, before adding certain “conditions” that needed to be met before a meeting could happen.
