In a bizarre and profanity-laced rant, actress Busy Philipps attacked fellow actor Chris Pratt over an Instagram post in which he praised his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger.
Pratt explains that he met his wife in church and they fell in love.
This apparently triggered Philipps who responded by calling Pratt a “religious zealot type” and a “righteous a**hole.”
“Holy shit,” she began.
“Either like you’re the dumbest motherf***er on Earth, or you’re a real righteous a**hole,” the actress added. “It feels so f***ing weird to me, like, it just doesn’t feel good.”
Philipps, who is a vocal supporter of Joe Biden as well as an abortion access advocate, is well-known for her roles in several major television series including Freaks and Geeks, Dawson’s Creek, and ER.
Philipps said the post is a “red flag.” She explained, “It is as red, as bright red as my f***ing gushing p***** blood, Chris Pratt.”
“That’s how red those f***ing flags are,” Philipps said. “It’s as if I stuck them up my own ****, and **** on them, and then hung them on stakes outside of your house.”
Here’s a look at Pratt’s Instagram post that triggered Philipps:
“Guys. For real. Look how she’s looking at me! I mean. Find you somebody that looks at you like that!! You know!?” Pratt began.
“We met in church. She’s given me an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter, she chews so loudly that sometimes i put in my ear buds to drown it out, but that’s love!”
“She helps me with everything. In return, periodically, I open a jar of pickles. That’s the trade. Her heart is pure and it belongs to me. My greatest treasure right next to my Ken Griffey Jr Upper Deck Rookie card. Which if you know, you know is saying a lot. It’s her birthday in about 6 weeks. So if I don’t get her anything, I’ll tell her to look back on this post.”
“Love you honey,” Pratt concluded.
Then Philipps accuse Pratt of using “false modesty” and “patronizing” his wife.
Philipps issued a warning over the post. “My ladies,” she said. “I know that if you’re listening to this podcast, you’re probably not the type of lady that will laugh enthusiastically if you’re with a man and he starts to make very tired gender jokes about responsibilities and duties and even, like, the f***ing tired bit that he’s doing which is, like, ‘She runs the show, I occasionally open a bag of pickles.’”
“That’s how f***ing dumb what he said is,” she added.
“You are a Marvel superhero. You made $480 million last year. You work non-stop. You don’t just open a f***ing jar of pickles, you motherf***er who’s trying to, like, somehow, I don’t know, like, I hate it. I hate it so much.”
