NBA star LeBron James regularly uses his platform to push left-wing political and social activism.

Weighing in on the ongoing Kyle Rittenhouse trial, James mocked the defendant as he broke down in tears while taking the stand in his own defense.

James shared the video of the moment that Kyle Rittenhouse broke down in trial.

The incident resulted in the trial taking a 10-minute break.

LeBron James suggested Rittenhouse was merely acting and said the teenager must have “ate some lemon heads” before taking the stand.

James implies that Rittenhouse was pretending to cry in order to gain sympathy.

“What tears????? I didn’t see one,” James said.

“Man knock it off! That boy ate some lemon heads before walking into court,” James wrote to Twitter.

Kyle Rittenhouse was recounting the moments that he feared for his life.

Watch the clip:

Rittenhouse is currently charged with one count of first-degree intentional homicide as well as other charges in the aftermath of riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Rittenhouse, who is 18 years old now, says he was defending himself from violent protesters during the three nights of riots.

LeBron James was outspoken in his support of protesters who took to the streets in the wake of the “Black Lives Matter” movement.

Riots erupted after a police officer shot 29-year-old Jacob Blake. Blake was armed with a knife and ignored orders from police officers. Blake had a warrant for his arrest for charges of third-degree sexual assault, trespassing, and disorderly conduct.
