Tim Tebow has been released by the Jaguars.
Sadly, this end Tebow’s attempt to transform from a quarterback to tight end and continue his playing career.
Tebow, who is 34 years old now, responded, “Thankful for the highs and even the lows, the opportunities, and the setbacks.”
“I’ve never wanted to make decisions out of fear of failure and I’m grateful for the chance to have pursued a dream,” he added.
“Thank you to the Jaguars organization and everyone who has supported me in this journey,” Tebow concluded.

Tebow decided to give his football career another shot after four seasons in the Mets’ minor-league system. Tebow advanced as high as Triple-A before announcing his baseball retirement.
Tebow won two national titles and a Heisman Trophy under Meyer with the Gators, but his quarterback abilities did not translate to the NFL after getting drafted by the Broncos in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
Tebow was one of three players listed as the fourth-string tight end on the Jaguars’ first unofficial depth chart, which was posted last week.
His fate may have been sealed in Jacksonville’s first preseason game, in which he looked overmatched in viral clips of his blocking. Tebow was targeted once on an incomplete pass in 16 snaps against the Browns.
And those could be the last snaps of his NFL career.
