Appearing on the left-wing network MSNBC, Army veteran Matt Zeller absolutely eviscerated anyone supporting Joe Biden and his decision to precipitous withdraw of U.S. troops in Afghanistan.

Biden delivered a speech in which he blamed former President Donald Trump for the dire situation unfolding in the region.

Biden claimed, “When I came to office, I inherited a deal cut by my predecessor — which he invited the Taliban to discuss at Camp David on the eve of 9/11 of 2019 — that left the Taliban in the strongest position militarily since 2001 and imposed a May 1, 2021 deadline on U.S. Forces.”

Biden added, “Shortly before he left office, he also drew U.S. Forces down to a bare minimum of 2,500.”

MSNBC co-host Nicole Wallace defended Biden by saying, “95 percent of the American people will agree with everything [Biden] just said.”

Co-host Brian Williams chimed in by claiming Biden “didn’t run from it, he owned it, he owned his decision, he owned the fact that as he put it, the buck stops with him.”

This is when Army veteran Matt Zeller set the record straight.

Zeller responded, “I feel like I watched a different speech than the rest of you guys.”

“I was appalled,” Zeller said. “There was such a profound bald-faced lie in that speech. The idea we planned for every contingency?”

“I have been personally trying to tell this administration since it took office. I have been trying to tell our government for years this was coming. We sent them plan after plan on how to evacuate these people. Nobody listened to us,” Zeller said.

“These are our people. We made these people a promise. The Taliban are now actively killing them. And if we don’t take them they’re gonna die,” Zeller said. “We have the means to do this. We have simply lacked this entire time the courage and conviction to do the right thing. And I’m not gonna sit and listen to a president I voted for—I was happy this man took office—I’m now appalled at that speech.”

“I’m not gonna sit here and have him lie to the American people. We did not plan as a government for this contingency. The American people, the advocates who have been pleading with the government have been planning for it,” he continued. “I’m not going to let them get away with this.”

Zeller explained how an interpreter saved his own life 13 years ago and said he’ll “never forgive” America for abandoning them now. “If we don’t [rescue them], no one is ever gonna trust us again and people like me are going to come home in bodybags.”

His organization, No One Left Behind, helps wartime allies get to the U.S. and achieve the American Dream.

“These are our people. We made these people a promise. The Taliban are now actively killing them. And if we don’t take them they’re gonna die,” Zeller said. “We have the means to do this. We have simply lacked this entire time the courage and conviction to do the right thing. And I’m not gonna sit and listen to a president I voted for—I was happy this man took office—I’m now appalled at that speech.

The Biden administration’s failure to understand the movement of the Taliban and provide effective preparation with the Afghan government has had horrifying consequences.

U.S. troops have been under fire, at least twice, while at Kabul’s Karzai International Airport, the NY Post reports.

“Thousands of Afghans have been filmed desperately chasing after and clinging to a US Air Force plane as it taxied down the runway — with multiple people plunging to their deaths after the aircraft took off in the frantic attempt to flee the country after the Taliban takeover,” the report adds.

Trump has called on Biden to resign from office “in disgrace.”

“What Joe Biden has done with Afghanistan is legendary,” Trump said. “It will go down as one of the greatest defeats in American history!”

“It is time for Joe Biden to resign in disgrace for what he has allowed to happen to Afghanistan, along with the tremendous surge in COVID, the Border catastrophe, the destruction of energy independence, and our crippled economy,” Trump said.

Trump released a statement over the situation in Afghanistan:

“Joe Biden gets it wrong every time on foreign policy, and many other issues. Everyone knew he couldn’t handle the pressure. Even Obama’s Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates, said as much.”

“He ran out of Afghanistan instead of following the plan our Administration left for him — a plan that protected our people and our property, and ensured the Taliban would never dream of taking our Embassy or providing a base for new attacks against America. The withdrawal would be guided by facts on the ground.”

“After I took out ISIS, I established a credible deterrent. That deterrent is now gone. The Taliban no longer has fear or respect for America, or America’s power.”

Trump concluded, “What a disgrace it will be when the Taliban raises their flag over America’s Embassy in Kabul. This is complete failure through weakness, incompetence, and total strategic incoherence.”
