Blake Shelton recently lashed out in Kelly Clarkson’s direction, calling her out with claims that she has “forgotten her roots” and “gone Hollywood,” according to Fox News.
Clarkson cut back saying, “I have time to do it all and nail it while doing it.”
Clarkson said it’s “ironic” Shelton was “trying to serve us up on a Hollywood platter” considering he’s “always the one on covers of magazines and he’s dating Gwen Stefani.”
On a side note, Shelton spilled details regarding his proposal to Gwen Stefani.
“It’s kind of a blur, honestly.”
“I remember after I asked her, there was some crying and things and Gwen’s oldest son, Kingston, was sitting right next to us when this happened.”
“And Gwen in one moment said, ‘Wait a minute, did I answer you? Did I say yes out loud?’ And even I was wondering,” Shelton recalled, noting that Kingston chimed in afterwards for confirmation. “And Kingston said, ‘Mom, yeah you did. I heard you say ‘Yes,’ you did.'”
“45 seconds… that’s a long time after that question.”
