NY Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Daughter Sold Tee Shirts To Spread Awareness On Sexual Assault

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s daughter raised money for sexual assault awareness by selling t-shirts to raised money for sexual assault awareness, calling for an end to the behavior.

Michaela Kennedy Cuomo was 17 at the time she chose to sell the shirts online through booster.com.

The T=shirts read “my having a good ass does not give you a right to be one.”

“#stopsexualASSault.”

“Every 107 seconds, another American is sexually assaulted. That means that each year, there are 293,000 victims of sexual assault, and 98% of rapists will not even spend one day in prison,” the booster.com site stated, according to the New York Daily News at the time. “It is time to put sexual assault to an end.”

“The time has come. The Governor must resign.”
