Policeman Caught Harassing DIsabled Man — Tossing Him Out Of Wheelchair

Two police officers in South Africa were caught on tape assaulting a disabled man, according to TMZ.

Zwelenkosi Ngidi was stopped by one of the officers by putting his foot on Ngidi’s wheelchair. The police then flipped the wheelchair over with Ngidi still in it.

“Why are you doing this to the old man?” someone yelled.

Cape Town Mayor Dan Plato addressed the concerning spat.

In a statement he said, “I want to apologize unreservedly to the member of the public for what he experienced.” The mayor added, “The manner in which this situation was handled is not what we expect from our staff.”

The disturbing incident played out Thursday in Cape Town where the man in the wheelchair, Zwelenkosi Ngidi, found himself in a tense confrontation with 2 cops at the Central Police Station.
