Portland protesters gathered around the Justice Center and the federal courthouse over the weekend, starting fires, and setting American flags and Bibles aflame in the streets, according to Breitbart News.
The Portland Police confirmed that the crowd lit several fired in the area, including a massive bonfire in the middle of the street in front of the federal courthouse.
Police did not engage with the demonstrators.
Social media users shared a multitude of videos that show a slew of bibles lit on fire.

Police did not engage in the protest but did respond to a nearby shooting where over 150 rounds were shot.
One woman was struck by a bullet.
According to the Portland Police Bureau:
“One round struck an adult female victim in an arm. Responding officers applied a tourniquet and she was transported to the hospital by ambulance with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries. No other injuries have been reported to police, however bullets struck at least 8 occupied apartments and 7 vehicles (unknown if occupied).”
