According to a report from Town Hall, Democratic Senator, Chris Murphy defended China and the Chinese Communist Party.
During an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Murphy ultimately exonerated China and the Chinese Communist Party of any wrongdoing or fault in the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
Despite its coronavirus lies, Democrat Senator Chris Murphy says China is blameless:

Many Democrats seem constitutionally incapable of admitting that China covered up this plague and deserve any blame whatsoever https://t.co/LodIOTsTul

Some accuse Murphy of attempting to gaslight the American people into blaming the Trump administration for the virus.
More from Town Hall:
Sen. Murphy shows no nuance in fully exonerating China, and his take is completely out of touch with reality. It is virtually irrefutable that the CCP lied about the stature of the coronavirus, and with the help of the World Health Organization (WHO), the CCP was able to cover up the real statistics, including the number of deaths, caused by the virus.
The American people see through Democratic talking points, and overwhelmingly disagree with Sen. Murphy’s refusal to hold China accountable for their actions. An early April Harris poll shows that 67 percent of Democrats credit China for COVID-19, along with 75 percent of Independents and 90 percent of Republicans.
Democrats continue to prove that they will cover for a communist regime, one that has taken countless American lives, as an opportunity to criticize the Trump Administration.
