Former President Donald Trump recently ridiculed Whoopi Goldberg at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. He recalled hiring Goldberg as a comedian years ago but claimed he left her show due to her foul language.

“I hired Whoopi to work for me as a comedian before this stuff a long time ago. And I went; now, I’m not particularly shy about what I hear, and her mouth was so foul,” Trump said.

“Every word out of her mouth was like the F word. I was with a group of people and we had to leave. She was so filthy dirty — disgusting. I said I would never hire her again, and I left,” he added.

In response, Goldberg criticized Trump on “The View,” calling him “dumb” for hiring her multiple times and accusing him of mismanaging a casino.

“As it turns out, I was filthy. I was filthy,” Goldberg said.

“And stand on that fact. I have always been filthy. And you knew that when you hired me. I headline babe at your casino, which I might have continued to play had you not run it into the ground!”

“Exactly, who does that?” co-host Joy Behar said.

“You know, listen, how dumb are you? You hired me four times. You got to William Morris and get the things because I know you all are going to be looking for it. So, talk to William Morris,” Goldberg said. “You hired me four times, and you didn’t know what you were getting. How dumb are you?!”
