Two men, Johan Jose Rangel Martinez and Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, originally from Venezuela, were arrested and charged with capital murder by the Houston Police Department for the strangulation and rape of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray, whose body was found in a creek in Houston, Texas.
Surveillance footage showed Jocelyn with Martinez and Ramos at a convenience store before the crime.
The tragic incident unfolded after Jocelyn sneaked out of her apartment, leading to her untimely death.
HPD now calling the two men suspects and say they're both facing capital murder charges. They were seen on camera walking under the bridge after meeting the young girl. The community has rallied support for Jocelyn’s family through a GoFundMe page, while authorities are pursuing justice for the heinous crime.
