LeBron James now holds the scoring record for the most points in the NBA. He surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar who previously held the record with 38,387 points.

Despite this success, the billionaire has been complaining about not being able to go to Target like “normal people.”

LeBron’s insulting comments came during an interview with The New York Times. When asked about his fame and fortune, he spoke about how “challenging” it can be.

“I don’t want to say it ever becomes too much, but there are times when I wish I could do normal things,’ James said. “I wish I could just walk outside.”

“I wish I could just, like, walk into a movie theater and sit down and go to the concession stand and get popcorn,” he continued. “I wish I could just go to an amusement park just like regular people.”

“I wish I could go to Target sometimes and walk into Starbucks and have my name on the cup just like regular people.”

James added, “I’m not sitting here complaining about it, of course not, but it can be challenging at times.”

James has an estimated net worth of $1 billion, which does not come only from playing basketball.

About $41 million of his fortune comes from the NBA. The rest comes from shoe, movie, and clothing deals, most of which come from Nike. He is one of Nike’s biggest-selling names in the Chinese market.
