New Photos Surface of Idaho Murder Suspect

Photographs and video footage were captured as Idaho murder suspect Bryan Kohberger arrive in court in Pennsylvania.

We also learned that Kohberger was pulled over while driving twice by police in recent weeks. Video footage of the traffic stop has been released.

Judge Margherita Worthington asked whether Kohberger waives his right to challenge his arrest on four counts of first-degree murder.

“Yes, I do,” he replied.

Kohberger’s father nodded his head in acknowledgment at his son. Then Kohberger turned his gaze forward.

Kohberger signed the extradition document with shackled hands.

When leaving the courtroom, his father waved to him.

One of Kohberger’s sisters was weeping during the brief legal proceeding.

A court officer handed her a box of tissues.

Kohberger was studying criminal jjustice and criminology at the time of his arrest. He is accused of fatally stabbing four University of Idaho students.

Details of the crime are sealed until he returns to Idaho and is served with the arrest warrant in accordance with the law.

The FBI used DNA to identify Kohberger. This process took nearly seven weeks.

Authorities also learned that Kohberger had a white Hyundai Elantra, the vehicle that police had urged the public to help them track down.

A 2011 to 2013 white Hyundai Elantra was spotted near the crime scene around the time of the gruesome slayings, Moscow police said.

Kohberger lives in Pullman, Washington, in student housing just a 10-minute drive from 1122 King Road, where the four victims were ambushed in their sleep and each stabbed multiple times.
