Many gifts were delivered to Meghan Markle during her time at Kensington Palace.

She reportedly needed to turn down $12 million in gifts due to royal protocol and Meghan wasn’t happy about it.

The deliveries were said to be quite often and included clothes, jewelry, and candles.

Meghan wanted to keep the gifts, according to Valentine Low’s new book titled “Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown.”

She argued about keeping the gifts with her personal assistant Melissa Toubati.

However, it is against royal protocol to accept gifts from organizations.

Toubati resigned six months after Meghan and Harry’s 2018 wedding.

Low’s book cited an insider who claimed: “Clashes centered on the free gifts that some companies would send Meghan. Deliveries were constantly arriving at Kensington Palace. ‘Clothes, jewelry, candles … It was non-stop.”
