Even liberals can’t stand Whoopi Goldberg as fans of “The View” are beginning to speak out.
Goldberg has become “exponentially worse this season” as fans say she’s “out of touch” and repeatedly curses and interrupts other people.
“Fans of the show have called for the producers to have a casting rearrangement after the popular show has faced a series of blunders recently,” Daily Mail reported.
After a recent segment, one fan commented how “Whoopi and Sunny’s foul language was a bit much today.”
“Someone needs to start pushing back on Whoopi,” another person said. “I have a feeling someone will not let her interject one day which will cause Whoopi to go full-on nuts honestly.”
“She has gotten exponentially worse this season so I hope next time contract negotiations are up it’s time to go, or work less days,” the person added.
A third person explained, “I have no idea what ABC thinks is happening here. They take several women, with no real credibility and let them mouth off day after day and they’re surprised that one day someone says something stupid?”
“Completely agree about Whoopi,” another person said. “She shuts down any opinion she doesn’t agree with,’ another chimed while a fifth slammed: ‘So out of touch.'”
Earlier this year, Goldberg ignorantly and repeatedly claimed on cable television that “the Holocaust isn’t about race.”
Goldberg was humiliated that she almost resigned over the issue. ABC News president Kim Godwin only suspended her two weeks “for her wrong and hurtful comments.”
“Her ego has been hurt, and she’s telling people she’s going to quit,” the source said. “Suspension from ‘The View’ is like getting suspended from Bravo. The bar is very low.”
Known for her far-left politics, Goldberg pushed a false and disturbing lie about the Holocaust by claiming it “was not about race,” adding that it was “two white groups of people.”
Insiders at Disney, which owns ABC, were reportedly furious over the remarks. Executives claimed this controversy will not simply “blow over.”
“ABC staffers and Disney Network execs are saying Whoopi went way too far. And board members are not happy with her apology and want a fuller retraction. The word is that Whoopi is in ‘deep s–t,’” the ABC insider said.
“Why does Whoopi seemingly get a pass when others don’t? Perhaps this time she won’t. Many at the network — including her fellow hosts — believe Whoopi is too controversial now for the show,” the ABC insider continued.
“This will cast a shadow over everything for a while. Even Joy Behar was heard saying backstage that Whoopi is ‘dead wrong’ and may not ever recover from this,” the source said. “Joy found this particularly troubling and couldn’t believe Whoopi wouldn’t stand corrected until she was forced.”
