The anti-Trump witch hunt investigation into the events of January 6th at the Capitol is beginning to backfire on Democrats.

During a recent public hearing, it was revealed that the production crew of outspoken liberal CBS host Stephen Colbert committed their own insurrection at the Capitol by entering a House office building unescorted.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson highlighted this fact during his show. “Producers from Stephen Colbert’s show on CBS committed insurrection at the United States Capitol,” Carlson said.

Carlson pointed out the hypocrisy of Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff who “has spent the last year and a half telling you that unauthorized violations of capitol space are a coup.”

“Adam Schiff illegally gave producers from CBS access to the Capitol and then the crew, which includes the show’s senior producer, director, comedian and writer, remained in the House, Longworth House office building after hours and the point of them being there was for them to harass sitting members of congress,” Carlson said.

The producers were arrested for unlawful entry into the Capitol complex.

Capitol Police confirmed that “responding officers observed seven individuals unescorted and without congressional ID in a six floor hallway.”

Colbert’s crew approached Republican Reps. Marjorie Taylor-Greene and Lauren Boebert while in the office building in order to “harass” them, Carlson explained.
