Actor Mark Wahlberg isn’t afraid to publicly express his Christian faith despite living in Hollywood where it’s widely viewed as a “no-no” among many celebrity elites.

Wahlberg is a highly-accomplished actor, producer, and businessman.

He’s received multiple accolades, including a BAFTA Award, and nominations for two Academy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, nine Primetime Emmy Awards, and three Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Wahlberg says he regularly attends church and encourages his fans to pray with him.

“I’ve been getting a lot of messages from people who have been praying every day and finding peace, and especially sending wonderful messages about doing the rosary with me.”

Wahlberg then invited fans to continue praying with him at home while using an app.

During a Joe Rogan podcast, actor Matthew McConaughey spoke to the fear and hypocrisy in Hollywood when it comes to faith.

“I have had moments where I was on stage receiving an award in front of my peers in Hollywood, and there were people in the crowd that I have prayed with before dinners many times, and when I thanked God, I saw some of those people go to clap, but then notice that, ‘bad thing on my resume’ and then sit back on their hands,” McConaughey said.

“StayPRAYEDUp with the @hallowapp,” Wahlberg wrote to Instagram. Take a look:
