Left-wing political personality Ana Kasparian admits she has been wrong about key facts concerning the case of Kyle Rittenhouse case.

She argued that Rittenhouse first chased after Joseph Rosenbaum before shooting and killing him.

Kasparian, who is a cohost of “The Young Turks” said, “I was wrong about that, okay, so I want to correct the record.”

“Look, these details matter, because if you’re going to make an argument that you acted in self-defense, there needs to be some proof that there was an imminent threat,” she added.

Key eye witness testimony during the trial has revealed it was Rosenbaum who chased after Rittenhouse.

A gun was also fired from a third party just seconds before Rittenhouse fatally shot Rosenbaum, Daily Wire notes.

Liberals rushed to the defense of violent rioters as they destroyed Kenosha, Wisconsin for three nights.

The riots erupted after a police officer shot 29-year-old Jacob Blake who was armed with a knife and ignored orders from law enforcement. Blake had a warrant for his arrest for charges of third-degree sexual assault as well as other charges.

Rittenhouse, who is 18 years old now, says he was defending himself from violent protesters.

“Now, what really mattered to me was how all of this unfolded,” Kasparian explained.

“What was the thing that sparked it, what started all of it. And, initially, I was under the assumption that Rittenhouse was the person who was chasing after Joseph Rosenbaum — that’s how it started. But I was wrong about that.”

“I was in fact wrong about that, and to show you the evidence to reinforce that I was wrong about that, I want to go to this video.”

“So, those details matter, right? Who was chasing who matters, the gunshots by some other unidentified person, that matters, especially if you’re Rittenhouse and you’re running away, and then you hear shots and then Rosenbaum lunges toward him,” Kasparian said.

Here’s a partial transcript:

Corey Chirafisi: Now, you’d agree your firearm is pointed at Mr. Rittenhouse. Correct?

Gaige Grosskreutz: Yes.

CC: Okay. And once your firearm is pointed at Mr. Rittenhouse, that’s when he fires his gun. Yes?

GG: No.

CC: Sir, look, I don’t want to – does this look like right now your arm is being shot?

GG: That looks like my bicep being vaporized, yes.

CC: Okay. And it’s being vaporized as you’re pointing your gun directly at him. Yes?

GG: Yes.

CC: Okay. So when you were standing 3-5 feet from him with your arms up in the air, he never fired. Right?

GG: Correct.

CC: It wasn’t until you pointed your gun at him, advanced on him with your gun — now your hands down — pointed at him that he fired. Right?

GG: Correct.
