Joe Biden is now at risk of being impeached after Ohio’s Rep. Bob Gibbs officially introduced articles of impeachment to the House of Representatives, according to the The Daily Wire.
Rep. Gibbs referred to a list a of grievances that included a crisis at the border, abuse of federal authority and the the polarizing withdrawal of Afghanistan.
Among the reasons, was an accusation that Biden improperly used federal power by using of The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to enforce an eviction moratorium that has now been struck down by the Supreme Court.
“I take this seriously. I don’t think it’s haphazard. I’m not trying to get media attention for myself,” the Ohio republican said to the Washington Examiner.
Adding, “He’s done so much damage to this country in less than nine months, which is really scary.”
“He’s not capable of being commander-in-chief, and that’s obvious by the actions since Day One when he took the presidency back in January,” insisted Gibbs. “Maybe something like this makes the White House think twice before they do some of this nonsense.” hoped the representative.
The co-signers that have joined Rep. Gibbs are Rep. Andy Biggs of Arizona and two Texan representatives, Rep. Brian Babin and Rep. Randy Weber.
The representatives reportedly started cooperating on creating the articles before the tumultuous withdrawal from Afghanistan that included the suicide attack that cost 13 American service members their lives and the retaliatory drone strike that reportedly killed 10 Afghan civilians.
The main focuses of the articles of impeachment were initially federal overreach in regards to the eviction moratorium and a variety of dangerous situations at the border that were being created by Biden’s policies on immigration.
The complications that arose during the sudden withdrawal from Afghanistan only added to the reasons that Gibbs believed that Biden should be impeached.
Border towns like Del Rio, Tx have reported an increase of thousands of incoming immigrants, creating a possible crisis due to the lack of supplies, shelter or enforcement.
Twenty six Republican governors recently asked the White House for help controlling the massive increase of illegal immigrants and called for Biden to end the “national security crisis created by eight months of unenforced borders” that his policies created.
