Mayor of U.S. City Destroys Proof of Vaccination Mandate — Equates Idea to Slavery, Jim Crow Era Papers

Democrat Boston Mayor Kim Janey is rejecting the idea of mandating proof of vaccination in the city.

She compared such papers to slavery and the Jim Crow era.

“We know that those types of things are difficult to enforce when it comes to vaccines,” Janey said.

“There’s a long history in this country of people needing to show their papers — whether we talking about this from the standpoint of, you know, as a way to, after — during slavery, post-slavery, as recent as, you know, what the immigrant population has to go through,” she continued.

“We’ve heard Trump with the birth certificate nonsense,” she added. “Here, we want to make sure that we are not doing anything that would further create a barrier for residents of Boston or disproportionately impact BIPOC communities.”

These comments come on the heels of NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio announcing that proof of vaccination will be required for indoor dining, gyms and entertainment. Disney and Walmart are also forcing employees to receive the vaccine in order to return to work.

The comments came as New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced people in his city will be required to show proof of vaccination for indoor dining, gyms, and entertainment shows.

New York is the first city in the nation to require such proof of vaccination, with de Blasio calling the passports the “Key to NYC Pass.”

“This is a miraculous place, literally filled with wonders,” de Blasio said of the city. “If you’re vaccinated, that’s gonna open up to you, you can open the door. If you’re unvaccinated you will not be able to participate in many things. It’s time for people to see vaccination as necessary to living a good, full, and healthy life.”

TRENDING 👇 Olympian Has Incredible Response After Winning Gold

This is refreshing to see. Amid rampant left-wing protests by U.S. athletes at the Olympics, one Olympian is showing liberals what real patriotism looks like.

Chicago-born U.S. athlete Tamyra Mensah-Stock became the first African-American woman to win gold in wrestling. What was her response? She thanked God and expressed joy at representing the United States.

While holding the American flag tightly, Mensah-Stock said, “It feels amazing. I love representing the U.S.”

“I freaking love living there. I love it, and I’m so happy I get to represent USA!” she said. She also stated, “I’m feeling very happy and I keep trying not to cry, but it keeps happening. I just wanna go into a dark room and just cry.”

“It’s by the grace of God I’m able to even move my feet,” she said. “Like I just leave it in His hands, and I pray that all the practice, that the hell that my freaking coaches put me through pays off. And every single time it does, and I get better and better and it’s so weird that there is no cap to the limit that I can do.” Watch the clip:
