Reporter Has ‘Surreal Moment’ of Realization After Atttending Pro-Police Rally

A reporter was apparently shocked at what he witnessed at a pro-police rally, calling it a “surreal moment” in Oakland, California, Western Journal reports.

Across the nation, liberals have been pushing to defund their police departments and, in some cases, even completely eliminate their police departments. Additionally, the left has suggested the majority of the African American communities prefer police departments are defunded or reformed.

However, investigative journalist Lee Fang, who works for The Intercept, was covering a recent pro-law enforcement on July 10. The rally was called “Stand Up for a Safe Oakland.” Fang noted that “hundreds of mostly black supporters not only showed up en masse to back the blue but some of them also schooled what he called a handful of ‘white antifa protesters’” who were insisting that police were the problem,” Western Journal reports.

“Surreal moment in Oakland,” Fang wrote. “About 200 mostly black families rally with police to call for an end to the epidemic of gun violence. Mothers at the stage mourning recently murdered children,” he said about the names of the crime victims being read. “In the back, less than a dozen mostly white antifa protesters assembled to jeer them.”

In audio obtained by Daily Mail, “The Talk” co-host Elaine Welteroth, 34, appears to apologize for the incident that occurred with 68-year-old Sharon Osbourne.

Welteroth claims that she was asked to spark the conversation that spiraled out. “They asked me to ask that question. I said, ‘No I’m not going to ask that question,’” she explained. “I said, ‘Wait, what’s the intention of this conversation? She added: “Sharon I’m just so sorry that went the way that it went.” The audio was allegedly recorded by a mic that was still hot. “I just want you to know, Sharon, [co-host] Sheryl [Underwood] loves you and respects you so much and had your back behind the scenes,” Welteroth continued. “She was not trying to attack you and I also understand when you have a night … of trolls f–king attack you online, that puts you in a position where you have to defend yourself.”

Osbourne was confronted about her support of Piers Morgan during an episode of the daytime talk show. Fox News reported, ‘Back in March, Morgan walked off the set of his own television show after fielding criticism for his comments on Meghan Markle, which some have deemed racist. Osbourne fired off a tweet supporting Morgan, which drew backlash… During a March episode of “The Talk,” Osbourne addressed her support for Morgan, 56, and insisted that she does not share his opinion, but supports his right to voice his own… The conversation became tense and profanity-laden and ultimately resulted in Osbourne’s exit from the show.”

Celebrity rapper Pitbull posted a video to social media telling world leaders to immediately act to save the lives of pro-freedom demonstrators in Cuba, Daily Wire reports.

Pitbull said, “This is a message to the world. We need to stand up, step up. But if you don’t understand what’s going on, then you need to wake the f*** up. Not only is this a Cuba event, a Cuba thing, this is a world event. This isn’t about politics. This is about saving lives. This is about unity, not division. And bottom line it’s about taking action. He continued, “And it gets me hat bothers me and it frustrates me to a certain extent, being a Cuban American, and having a platform to speak to the world and not being able to help my own people, not being able to get them food, not being able to get them water, not being able to get the medicine. But most of all, not being able to help and really get them what they deserve, which is freedom. And this is my way of talking to the world. All world’s allies get together to help. Global businesses get together to help. People that we’re so proud of, people such as a Jeff Bezos, a Cuban American, graduated from high school in Miami, built one of the biggest companies in the world, the richest man in the world. He’s somebody that can get involved and really help us and what we got. All we can do is create awareness, but politics are gonna be polititricks.”

“And while they figure out what they figure out, we need to figure out how to really help,” he said. “We need to get creative, we need to figure out solutions while they’re losing their lives over there literally for something that we wake up every day and appreciate, which is freedom. So to everybody out there, stand up, step up. And if you don’t understand, get with the motherf***ing program and wake up because this is about freedom and it’s about human rights. And everybody in Cuba keep the fight up.”

A judge ruled in favor of Britney Spears, granting her permission to hire her own attorney for her case, according to Fox News.

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny approved attorney Sam Ingham’s resignation. His replacement was chosen by Spears. His name is Mathew Rosengart and he’s a former federal prosecutor. “I’m not representing her alone,” Rosengart said. He continued that explain that “a team of attorneys at my firm” who “all have substantial probate experience” will be assisting him.

Spears herself then addressed the court again. She said, “I’m here to get rid of my dad and charge him with conservatorship abuse.” Spears said she wants Jamie investigated and that “this conservatorship has allowed my dad to ruin my life.” She added that she wants “to press charges” against her dad and that she feels “angry.”

Jamie’s attorney fired back, however, and said that many of Spears’ “characterizations and memories are just incorrect” and there were “a lot of misstatements because of lack of recollection, information and understanding” when she spoke on Wednesday and last time on June 23.

The Blaze reported that UFC star Jorge Masvidal slammed disgraced former NFL player Colin Kaepernick or praising Fidel Castro.

Jorge Masvidal is a Cuban American UFC fighter who opposed the communist regime of Cuba. Masvidal called it a “killing machine.” Masvidal shared a messaged on social media that reads, “American leftists who know nothing about real oppression & communism wear images of Castro… while Cubans living in the horrors of communism and real oppression are waving the American flag.” The post includes a photo from 2016 of Kaepernick wearing a t-shirt with Fidel Castro. Masvidal added, “Know ur history and facts cowards like this fool should be sent to live in Cuba see what they say after a day there.”
