Donald Trump held an event for his Supporters at his Mar-a-Lago resort in West Palm Beach, according to The Western Journal.

Trump reprimanded Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell during the Republican National Committee event.

Trump addresses the members of the Republican National Committee and his top supporters for just under an hour.

Trump brought up subjects that are said to have been off script and touched on the 2020 election.

“If that were Schumer instead of this dumb son of a b****, Mitch McConnell, they would never allow it to happen,” Trump remarked.

Trump called McConnell names, such as a “stone-cold loser,” and the name previously mentioned.

“I hired his wife. Did he ever say, ‘thank you’?” Trump stated referring to McConnell’s wife, Elaine Chao.

Trump had hired Chao as transportation secretary.

Trump shared further that Chao resigned after the Capitol Incursion and facetiously stated that “She suffered so greatly.”

Trump shifted his criticisms toward his former Vice President, Mike Pence.

“I wish that Mike Pence had the courage to send it back to the legislatures.”

“I like him so much. I was so disappointed.”

Switching gears again Trump set his sights on White House medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Trump joked that Fauci wants everybody to wear “five” face covers.

Trump asked, “Have you ever seen anybody that is so full of crap?”

“I stand before you this evening filled with confidence that in 2022, we are going to take back the House and we are going to reclaim the Senate — and then in 2024, a Republican candidate is going to win the White House.”

“They’re coming in from the Middle East. They’re not sending their best people.”

“You have murderers, you have rapists, you have drug dealers.”

From The Western Journal:

Despite his criticism of McConnell, Trump in his prepared remarks predicted Republicans would win back majorities in both the Senate and the House of Representatives in the 2022 midterms.

He did not reveal his own plans for 2024.

Trump also criticized the Biden administration’s handling of the illegal immigration crisis on the southern border.

One member of the audience testified to Trump’s status as a party leader.

“The party is still very much revolving around” Trump, said Andrea Catsimatidis, chairwoman of the Manhattan Republican Party who attended the event, according to The New York Times. “He was the one who very much revived the party when we weren’t winning.”
