Social Media Influencer Found Dead On Side Of Road After Going Missing

Alexis Leigh Sharkey, 26, was found dead on the side of West Houston Road, according to Fox News.

Sharkey was found with no visible wounds.

Sharkey was a huge Instagram influencer.

“She was a smart, beautiful, loving woman who has left us too soon,” her mother said.

“She didn’t wind up where she was found on her own. It was no accident.”

“I’m sure you can imagine the utter devastation. It is every parent’s worst nightmare.”

Houston police had been looking for 26-year-old Alexis Leigh Sharkey when they found a woman’s body Saturday on Red Haw Lane. Police said a medical examiner on Monday confirmed that the body was Sharkey’s.

Robinault, 52, who lives in Pennsylvania, said he was the one who told her that Alexis was missing on Saturday.

She said she immediately began to panic. “Everyone was in a panic. Her friends. It made our panic worse,” she said.

Reached by phone Monday, Tom Sharkey told Fox News, “I’m sorry. I can’t talk” before hanging up.
