When President Trump ordered a military drone strike to kill Iran’s top military commander, he told them very clearly that he will no longer tolerate their aggressive behavior.
Trump’s decision to kill Iranian General Qassem Soleimani, however, has stirred Iran into a frenzy and they are reportedly planning to retaliate—something Trump is advising they reconsider.
Taking to Twitter, President Trump said he just signed off on a new United States military budget which includes “two trillion dollars on military equipment.”
“We are the biggest and by far the BEST in the World!” Trump continued, before threatening to turn these weapons and gear on Iran. “If Iran attacks an American Base, or any American, we will be sending some of that brand new beautiful equipment their way…and without hesitation!”

“They attacked us, & we hit back. If they attack again, which I would strongly advise them not to do, we will hit them harder than they have ever been hit before!” the president added in another tweet.

“Iran is talking very boldly about targeting certain USA assets as revenge for our ridding the world of their terrorist leader who had just killed an American, & badly wounded many others, not to mention all of the people he had killed over his lifetime, including recently hundreds of Iranian protesters,” Trump said in another series of tweets.
“He was already attacking our Embassy, and preparing for additional hits in other locations,” he continued. “Iran has been nothing but problems for many years.”
Trump then offered the Iranians a warning: “Let this serve as a WARNING that if Iran strikes any Americans or American assets, we have targeted 52 Iranian sites (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago), some at a very high level & important to Iran & the Iranian culture, and those targets, and Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD. The USA wants no more threats!”

Trump is making absolutely clear the situation Iran would be walking into should they retaliate.
CNN’s Manu Raju reports a top military adviser in Iran said his country will respond militarily to the drone strike, though it is uncertain how or when this will occur.

As for an end to the conflict, Raju reports Iran will only sit down and negotiate with President Trump if they can first try him in their court system “for the crime he committed.”
