According to a report from the Washington Examiner, Larry David spoke with the New York Times about his thoughts on the coronavirus, his career, and President Trump.

David said, “You know, it’s an amazing thing. [Trump] has not one redeeming quality. You could take some of the worst dictators in history, and I’m sure that all of them, you could find one decent quality. Stalin could have had one decent quality, we don’t know!”

“That’s the hardest thing about the day, watching what comes out of this guy’s mouth,” he said. “It turns you into a maniac because you’re yelling at the television. All of a sudden, you find yourself screaming, like I used to do on the streets of New York, pre-Seinfeld, when I saw happy couples on the street.”

David plays to role of Bernie Sanders during sketches in Saturday night live, suggested that it was time for Sanders to drop out.

“I feel he should drop out,” David said. “Because he’s too far behind. He can’t get the nomination. And I think, you know, it’s no time to fool around here. Everybody’s got to support Biden.”

David is among a long list of Hollywood faces who openly detest Trump, including Chrissy Teigan, who called Trump a “p**sy a** b**ch” and Alec Baldwin who said that Trump was the real “virus” and that “the vaccine arrives in November.”
