Donald Trump defended himself during a White House press briefing when a CNN reporter repeatedly challenged the president to speak about Hydroxychloroquine.

CNN’s Jeremy Diamond asked, “Why not just let the science speak for itself? Why are you promoting this drug?”

“I’m trying to save lives,” Trump added that the government was buying the drugs in mass quantities.

“If it doesn’t work, it’s nothing lost by doing it,” Trump said. “Nothing.”

“I don’t want to wait a year and a half to find out, and only CNN would ask that question,” he concluded. “Fake news.”
