A very rare public order has been issued on Tuesday by a secretive surveillance court. The court order is rebuking the FBI’s poor handling of warrant applications on Carter Page.

The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court operates in almost complete secrecy.

The court called a watchdog report “troubling” and reprimanded the FBI’s behavior as “antithetical to the heightened duty of candor”.

The government, in turn, has been ordered to explain what steps it intends to take in order to prevent such appalling blunders by early 2020.

The court order follows a watchdog report that revealed incredibly horrific lapses in the FBI’s judgment in regards to the handling of the warrant against Carter Page.
