Brian Kilmeade, Fox & Friends host openly shared his surprise that the latest poll conducted by Fox & Friends concluded 50% of Americans support impeaching and removing President Trump.

“I was stunned to see that that’s the number,” Kilmeade retorted. “Because I thought that things were trending away, although the president’s approval rating did tick up in the same poll, so it’s almost like a split personality.”

President Trump did was not bothered, explaining that the poll held by F&F was “heavily weighted toward Dems.”

Trump took to Twitter: “The Fox News polls, always inaccurate, are heavily weighted toward Dems. So ridiculous – same thing happened in 2016. They got it all wrong. Get a new pollster!”

The poll surveyed 1,000 registered voters between the dates of December 8-11, 2019.

More from Fox News:

The poll results produced a baffling split result: Approval for impeachment/removal rose 1% since late-October: to 50% from 49%.

At the same time, President Trump’s job-approval rating spiked 3%: to 45% from 42% in late-October.

Any poll should be viewed skeptically, but a poll simultaneously showing rising approval ratings and a mild increase in impeachment approval is bizarre.
