Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard is continuing her criticism of former party leader Hillary Clinton, this time turning up the heat and demanding she relinquishes her throne.

In a video posted to Twitter, Gabbard says Clinton ruined the United States’ foreign policy and the country’s standing in the world.

“Hillary Clinton, your foreign policy has been a disaster for the country and the world,” the Hawaiian congresswoman said, staring directly into the camera.

“It’s resulted in the deaths and injuries of so many of my brothers and sisters in uniform,” added Gabbard, a member of the Army National Guard. “It’s devastated entire countries, millions of lives lost, the refugee crisis, our enemy al-Qaeda and ISIS strengthened.”

“we’ve seen an increase in Iranian and Russian influence in the region. Turkey is emboldened and we’ve seen an exacerbation of the problem of nuclear proliferation by overthrowing Gaddafi in Libya,” Gabbard continued.

“Yet, despite this damage that you have done to our country and the world, you want to continue your failed policies directly or indirectly through the democratic nominee,” the presidential candidate said.

“It’s time for you to acknowledge the damage that you’ve caused. And it is long past time for you to step down from your throne so that the Democrat Party can lead with a new foreign policy which will actually be in the interest of and benefit to the American people and the world,” Gabbard concluded.

In a series of tweets last week, Gabbard called Clinton “the queen of warmongers” and said her lack of leadership was crippling the Democrat Party.

“Great! Thank you @HillaryClinton. You, the queen of warmongers, embodiment of corruption, and personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long, have finally come out from behind the curtain,” Gabbard said in a tweet on Friday afternoon.

“From the day I announced my candidacy, there has been a concerted campaign to destroy my reputation. We wondered who was behind it and why,” the Hawaiian congresswoman continued. “Now we know — it was always you, through your proxies and powerful allies in the corporate media and war machine, afraid of the threat I pose.”

“It’s now clear that this primary is between you and me. Don’t cowardly hide behind your proxies. Join the race directly,” Gabbard challenged.

Gabbard’s frustration with Clinton exploded after Clinton accused her of being a Russian asset during a Campaign HQ podcast.

President Trump and others have defended Gabbard amid the claim.
